Salpa Trappa Ghook, GHOOK a practical hook that is used to take the trappe on the dock without getting your hands dirty. It was developed to help the crew during the mooring phases. No more dirty hands, mud on deck and half sailors in the way. The innovative G-shaped rotating hook is your new crew member who does the dirty work!
The GHOOK consists of a handle with an inserted wheel and a safety catch. With a tow rope connected to GHOOK, the mooring rope can be moved to the lowest position, under the parapet of the boat without fear that it touches the boat's fenders.
Mud and shells attached to the mooring line will fall into the water instead of the deck. Holding the GHOOK with the rope, they also protect the hands of the crew and provides a much smoother and faster mooring experience.
Mooring speed is particularly critical in case of wind, which can cause drift, possible collisions, hand injuries or, at the very least, a lot of stress. For this reason, the GHOOK design now offers optimal speed and endurance performance. Particular attention has been paid to minimizing friction caused by too dirty ropes. Algae and shells are not an obstacle for GHOOK.
Compared to traditional mooring, the use of the GHOOK accelerates the mooring process up to 3 times.
